Ronn Burton was introduced to Alba Emoting by Hyrum Conrad while an undergraduate at Shenandoah Conservatory. After moving to New York upon graduation, he began training with Patricia Angelin of Alba Technique. After several years of study, he started his teaching track; when he received his full teaching certificate, he began teaching Alba in New York, as well as Los Angeles, Ireland, Lebanon, and now Oklahoma City - his current base. Beginning in 2013, Ronn was the recording secretary for all meetings leading up to the formation of the Alba Method Association. In recent years, he has had the honor of bringing "A Glimpse of Alba Technique" to the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab (2018-2019) as well as the Directors Lab Mediterranean in Beirut, Lebanon (2019-2020). Ronn is on the acting faculty at Oklahoma City University and University of Central Oklahoma. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, and the Founding Artistic Director of immersive theatre and film company 19th Century Hound.
